Food is ultimately a story… In my case, it is the story of family, creativity, beauty, and love. I have always been drawn to the mysterious alchemy of cooking and the endless possibilities it offers for creativity. I remember watching my grandmother with wonder in her garden or canning preserves, making my first gingerbread house, and the crazy Sunday brunches my Dad laid out... everything had playful and exotic names. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you my life has been devoted to the table as an altar…

Food is ultimately a story… In my case, it is the story of family, creativity, beauty, and love. I have always been drawn to the mysterious alchemy of cooking and the endless possibilities it offers for creativity. I remember watching my grandmother with wonder in her garden or canning preserves, making my first gingerbread house, and the crazy Sunday brunches my Dad laid out... everything had playful and exotic names eg. African trail markers and porcupine meatballs! I was deeply affected by these experiences and their ability to bring so much pleasure and joy to others and understood from early on the power and healing that food mixed with ambiance could bring. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you my life has been devoted to the table as an altar…
